Governmnet and UN sponsored 5 Month Program in ChileDate: 2010-04-13 20:04:19, Location: South AmericaThe English Opens Doors Program, an initiative of the Chilean Ministry of Education and the United Nations Development Programme- Chile, announces the creation of an exciting new 5 Month Program in Chile! Make a difference by teaching English in public elementary and high schools throughout Chile. Additionally 5 Month volunteers will work with gifted public high school students at to week-long English camps. The Five Month Program begins July 4th and ends November 24th. The Ministry of Education offers all volunteers: • A program completion bonus of CLP 85.000 per month served • Accommodations and meals with a host family • All-expense paid orientation in Santiago, which includes TEFL workshops, Spanish lessons, and cultural activities • All-expense paid regional orientation • In country transportation • E-blended Spanish Course All volunteers must contribute 100.00 USD a month for comprehensive mandatory health insurance coverage and associated administrative costs. However, please be aware that monthly stipend payments outweigh the costs of this contribution. Couples are welcome. Teach English, Learn Spanish. and make a difference in Chile! |
