Experienced teacher to teach English at private school

Experience teacher willing to participate in a highly rated privated school. Guides the students in the development of their curriculum, reports to Parents about the progress of their children. Plans, organizes, execute and evaluates the learning process for the corresponding grades.
The school population is aprox. 475 students, divided in classrooms of no more than 25 students. Teaching staff consists of 40 teachers, covering preschool through 12th grade. School year runs from August 17, 2010 to June 17, 2011, working hours 7:45 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
English is taught in a classroom environment for 45 to 1 hour 15 minute periods, 5 times a week as Language Arts. Teachers must familiarize with the school's curriculum, must create lesson plans and teaching material on a weekly basis. Actively involve in the permenant revision of the school's English curriculum. All teachers must also evaluate the progressive work of students, through our monthly grading system, participate in extra curricular activities, such as PTA meetings, deparment or staff meetings, events programmed by the school, must help in the supervision of school areas during student's recess periods, must be aware of any special needs of students concerning their academic performance, emotional or socially and inform them to the immediate supervisor. Must know the Student's Code of Discipline and enforce it. Follow the school's Teacher Manual. Keep working area organized and accesible. Be a role model for students in and out of school. Participate in workshops programmed throughout the year. Must dress accordingly to the school's dress code. Must selfevaluation of the work performed. Develop a professional work relationship with co-workers and parents. Must prompt in attendance to the school on a daily basis.
BA in Education or minimun 3 years of experience in ESL/ TEFL/ TESOL.
