Teaching Position Available in Hamamatsu, JAPAN beginning August, 2010Date: 2010-05-17 18:05:25, Location: Japan, AsiaTeaching Position Available in Hamamatsu, JAPAN beginning August, 2010 We are looking for a friendly, preferably female teacher to work at our small school in Hamamatsu Japan. The start date will be mid-August, 2010. Background about the Position: 1. Salary: 257,000 yen a month 2. Housing: not provided, but the school will find and furnish a reasonably-priced apartment for incoming teachers. 3. Contract: One-year with a possibility to renew (a renewal bonus of 50,000 to 100,000 will be paid). 4. Hours: Monday-Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is rarely any overtime work, but if a teacher must work overtime, they will be compensated. 5. Holidays: 5 predetermined weeks plus most national holidays. 6. Visa: The school will help to secure a work visa. Background about the school and Hamamatsu: 1. Students: Mostly adults, with a few children's classes as well. 2. All material will be provided. 3. Hamamatsu: Hamamatsu is a mid-sized city (600,000) located halfway between Osaka and Tokyo.
