Huajuapan de León is a city of about 80,000 people situated in the beautiful state of Oaxaca. Start date is September 27, 2010. Qualifications: Successful applicants will have a B.A. + CELTA/TEFL Certification or an M.A. in a relevant field and at least two years of classroom teaching experience, preferably overseas with young adult students. Aside from providing quality instruction to students, the department focuses on both professional and community development and we are looking for motivated, self-starters who are willing to participate in projects outside of classes. Spanish ability and experience in TOEFL or Cambridge FCE exams is a plus. Location: University/college campus in Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca Wage: Approximately $11,000 – 13,500 MXN per month NET, depending on credentials, which is a very competitive local salary. |
