Teach English in Mexico

Date: 2010-05-18 08:05:47, Location: Central America

Paid ESL Volunteer ¡V Designed for trained teachers (ESL, TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or DELTA certified) to experience Mexico in a meaningful way.
Paid ESL Volunteers are recruited based on ESL Certification and/or teaching experience. In order to help teachers fund their personal costs, HELP! provides teachers with free accommodation in an apartment or host family situation as well as a $4,000.00 (M.X.N. ¡V Mexican pesos) living stipend per month. The maximum number of students per class is 12. Because classes are small and intimate, students have the opportunity to participate and enjoy personalized attention. Volunteers will teach five hours a day, five days a week, Monday - Friday.

THERE ARE NO FEES INVOLVED IN THE PAID ESL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM,

HELP! covers the following expenses:
*Housing for the semester of your stay. Volunteers will have the unique opportunity of living in an apartment with other HELP! teachers. In Tehuacan, Puebla, and San Luis Potosi, the apartments are a 15-minute walk from the school. Volunteers are responsible for all of their meals.
*Free Spanish Classes - 1 hour/day
*A hands on teaching program that will help you develop the skills necessary to teach in any country and interact with people from all over the globe.
*A once in a lifetime experience to serve in immeasurable ways and meet wonderful friends.
*The chance to be immersed in the Mexican culture.

ć International Volunteer and Internships - A unique opportunity for those with no in-classroom experience or certification who want to teach English to teenagers and adults in Mexico.
ƒá Volunteer-Study Program ¡V The perfect combination for those who want to serve and learn Spanish at the same time.
