Start Dates: Fall 2010 (September – November)
Contract Duration: 6 months – 1 year
Location: Rural Japan
Student Level: Elementary & Junior High
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Monthly Salary: 230,000 – 250,000 JPY ($3,000 -3,300)
Visa: Sponsored by the school
Number of Vacancies: 10
Housing: $450-550/month
Vacation: 7-8 weeks, including national holidays
Health Insurance 2.5-3% deduction from monthly paycheque
Additional Benefits: Free Japanese lessons; training in Tokyo; free accommodations during training
REQUIREMENTS
• University Undergraduate Degree (in any discipline)
• Native English Speaker
• Willingness to be placed rurally
• Able to attend in-person interview in Toronto
