Our client is an established company based in the Chubu region of Japan. They have an excellent support system for teachers by providing them with great working conditions, helpful teacher resources, and a support network that sets a very high standard. Our client’s goal is to provide the highest quality Assistant Language Teachers to public schools in the Chubu and Kansai regions which will then provide the best experience for all the students, customers, and the ALT’s themselves. Our client truly understands that by exceeding the highest expectations, the children will greatly benefit from their positive experiences.
Location: Chubu and Kansai regions of Japan
Salary: 240,000 yen to 255,000 yen per month
Contract Length: One year contract with possibility of renewal
Start Date: August/September 2010
Basic Job Description:
ALT’s will be teaching in public elementary and junior high schools in a cooperative manner with a Japanese English teacher. Teachers will assist with planning lessons, leading class activities, and encouraged to participate in school events.
Basic Requirements:
a)University Degree in any discipline
b)Native English speaker
c)ESL/EFL teaching experience in Japan and/or Japanese language ability
e)No criminal record
f)Professional, committed, motivated, and adaptable
*TESL/TEFL Certificates favorable, but not necessary
