We are currently recruiting teachers to work privately in Moscow. The positions are working with children between the ages of 2 and 17 depending on the needs of each family. The job role is titled Governess or Governor, as your job is part teacher and part carer for these children. The contract will be for one year and you will be employed by a VIP Russian family to develop the English language skills of the child or children, teach them manners and correct etiquette as well as assist them to grow into well developed children. The job will be based in Moscow, however frequent international travel is required so you will find yourself in some of the most amazing corners of the world, travelling first class. You need to be flexible, as changes can happen daily and you need to be able to adapt to these. You also need to be able to adjust to new situations and posses the emotional maturity to handle working for a family. Your ability to plan and organise well is imperative, as you will be planning lessons, arranging play dates and excursions for activities of interest. All the homes are fully staffed which means you will need to be able to communicate effectively to other members of the staff, such as drivers, guards, housekeepers and cleaners. In many instances you will be the only English speaker in the house, so your communication skills, sense of humour and relaxed personality are needed here.
