Native English Teacher NeededDate: 2010-06-07 04:06:27, Location: Japan, AsiaNative English teacher in Gifu, Japan wanted: We are a mid-sized English school headquartered in Kani City which is located in the green mountainous prefecture of Gifu. We are currently looking for a native English speaker who holds a college degree and who can be available for training on or before July 5th, 2010. It's not mandatory but we prefer someone who has some teaching experience and can speak some basic Japanese. It would also be helpful if you live, have lived in or at least have visited Japan before. We are offering a very good position teaching mostly young Japanese children from 3 years to 12 years of age. Although we have some adult classes the majority of our classes are with younger students as many of our classes are conducted inside various kindergartens in the neighboring areas around Kani City. An international driver's license or a Japanese driver’s license is a mandatory requirement for this position as driving to various classrooms is one of the teacher’s responsibilities. My business partner and I are positive and energetic people who treat our employees honestly and fairly. We also expect the same treatment in return. We are looking for an energetic, hard-working, enthusiastic and responsible teacher. We understand the importance of building and maintaining trust with our customers and employees and we will go out of our way to ensure a congenial and productive working environment. We treat our teachers very well, with long paid vacations and occasional raises or bonuses, all of which many schools do not offer. In return we expect you to be a responsible, caring teacher who is not afraid of new challenges. Another very important prerequisite is that YOU HAVE FUN and enjoy teaching to both children and adults. Patience and empathy are also very important attributes that are needed for this or any teaching position. |
