English Teachers NeededDate: 2010-06-13 07:06:35, Location: Thailand, Southeast AsiaKing Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is currently seeking two English teachers to join our team. We are an autonomous university with approximately 20,000 students, with degree programs primarily in engineering and science. We currently employ eight full-time native English speaking teachers, plus some 30 Thai teachers in the Department of Languages. You’ll find the working environment comfortable and the colleagues friendly and considerate. Duties: teaching foundation English for freshmen; various undergraduate courses in Writing, Conversation, and Presentation Skills, and possibly some graduate level courses, depending on qualifications. Course load is 15 hours during the hours of 9:00 - 4:00, Monday - Friday. Teachers spend one day per week at our Prachinburi campus (transportation is provided). One overtime class is required per semester (3 hours per week), with extra pay. Additional duties include exam preparation, curriculum development, and proof-reading and editing of various documents. Holders of MA and PhD degrees may also teach in our MA-English for Business and Industry Communication program. Qualifications: BA or MA in English studies or related field preferred. A TEFL certificate is a plus. Teaching experience preferred. Candidates must be native speakers from the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc. |
