Seeking EFL Instructors for a New Program in University of Tabuk

We are recruiting qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated EFL professionals to work in the new Intensive English Program at the University of Tabuk for the academic year 2010 2011. The program will deliver high-quality American English language training to local university-bound students. Main Duties
Teaching up to 20 hours per week.
Substituting for absent instructors as required.
Preparing of lessons
Correcting of homework and class work.
Preparing, administering and correcting of placement, progress and achievement tests.
Monitoring, assessing and reporting of student performance.
Developing supplementary materials for core syllabi or for special courses.
Attending staff meetings and/or workshops arranged by senior staff.
Assisting with the running of public examinations.
Assisting with curricular and administrative tasks, as requested
Participating fully in the University community as a faculty member
Keeping regular office hours to meet with and advise students
Position Requirements Essential:
University degree
Minimum of TEFL certificate or equivalent
EFL teaching experience - preferably in a Middle Eastern country
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team
Experience in communicative language methodology, skills integration and proficiency in using technology as an integrated component of classroom instruction
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to function professionally in a multicultural environment
Desirable:
A Masters degree in Applied Linguistics or TESOL or related field Experience in teaching across program levels and skills.
International experience and an interest in further international experience preferred
Teaching experience in a U.S. university environment
Basic Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: 10,000 15,000 SAR per month
Vacation: 60 days of paid vacation
Furniture Allowance: A one-time payment of 8500 SAR
Air fare from and back to place of hire
International Travel Allowance: Annual roundtrip air tickets for you and up to three dependents
End-Of-Service Bonus: One half-month of basic salary for each full year of service upon completion of two full years of service with the University. However, upon completion of five years of service, consecutively, you will be entitled to an end-of-service bonus equivalent to one month of your basic salary for each year of service based on your basic salary at the time you leave the University. The accumulated amount of end-of-service benefit, not exceeding SR 100,000, is payable at final termination of the contract.
