Ardmore Language Schools (ALS) have been facilitating English language courses in the UK for over 25 years and has recently expanded to the US.
We are currently recruiting for our southern California programme based in Riverside (near LA) and our New York program based in Jersey City (8min train to Manhattan)
The position combines ESL teaching in the mornings and Activities/Sports/Sightseeing in the afternoon. You will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and teaching of the academic program in the AM and the smooth and successful delivery of the activities program in the PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To teach English to a high standard following the syllabus set out in the Ardmore Language Schools’ workbooks and academic programme
• To prepare and deliver lessons with the aim of achieving the objectives and outcomes of the Ardmore Language Schools syllabus
• To use teaching techniques that are appropriate to the level and needs of the students - creating a positive learning environment
• To assist the Centre Director (CD) with student testing and placement
• To maintain excellent class administration including lesson preparation, class registration and monitoring student progress
•To carry out residential duties and supervise on excursions and activities
• To maintain proper levels of student behavior, safety and welfare when on duty
