BTICE Shorter Your Dream Road of Teaching in China
Experience ancient and young China, Break out of your routine and learn things about yourself and others – fulfill your eager of change and the students’ eager of speaking English-BTICE is the best bridge to help you become a teacher in China.
Since 2007, BOAO TongWen International Culture Exchange Center (BTICE) have successfully placed over 1,000 qualified foreign teachers as volunteers just like you in paid semester or year English teaching jobs in 78 middle, high school positions in urban or town locations all around China. We charge our volunteers nothing. Anywhere you teach in China, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in local customs, share your own way of life, and have new experiences that open your eyes to the world of change that defines modern day China.
China has become one of the driving forces for the change in the modern world. Ancient traditions mingle with contemporary thought, and remnants of an old-fashioned lifestyle are juxtaposed to the most modern conveniences. Teaching English in China is much more than a trip overseas; it is a total immersion working and living experience which affords the opportunity for cross-cultural interaction and involvement in a local community. Your choice of teaching English abroad in China with BTICE will immerse yourself in one of the world’s longest continuous civilizations.
BTICE offers an exciting and affordable opportunity for native English speakers or near native speakers to live, work, and travel in this fascinating country. You will teach an average of 15~18 hours per week, which leaves you enough time to see the sites and explore the rich cultural backdrop of China’s expansive history. The students range from private academics, public elementary and secondary schools. Contract extension would be highly appreciated according to your performance and your wishes. China includes English in their school's curriculum at a young age, so most students are proficient with English reading and writing, but are shy and embarrassed to practice their conversational skills. As an English language skills teacher, you will engage with and make your students like speaking English and feel more comfortable by interacting with them in your native tongue.
We have more than 70 candidate positions in 13 provinces. 2010's Fall Program starts in July.
