Current Opportunity: Adventure Teaching Inc. is looking for a Business English Instructor for a one year teaching position with a well respected corporation, in South Korea. The job will be in Yongin City, which is about 45-60 minutes outside Seoul. The instructor will conduct business English programs for corporate employees in South Korea. The courses will be English immersion courses. Instructors will also help develop teaching materials and curriculum for business English programs and teacher training programs. Qualifications: •MA TESOL/TEFL/TEFL •3 years of teaching experience and or business experience is preferred •Proven record of dynamic teaching skills and developing EFL teaching materials Overview & Responsibilities: •One year contract. September 2010 – September 2011 (flexible start date for the right candidate) •20 teaching hours per week (additional hours considered overtime) •Working hours 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday •Conduct Business English Classes. Programs are already developed and will include subjects such as situation dialogues, business and culture, business telephoning skills, business writing, business presentations/speeches, business meetings and negotiations Financial Overview •2.5-3.0 million Korean Won/month salary (ranges according to experience) •Bonus equal to one month’s salary after completed contract 1 year contract (average of salary + overtime) •35,000 won per hour overtime pay •50% of medical insurance paid by employer (Typical Cost to instructor is roughly 50,000-70,000 KW per month) •National pension plan provided •Airfare allowance provided •Single apartment provided or subsidy of 500,000 won per month •3 weeks paid vacation time (15 working days) •Meals provided according to company meal plan (3 meals per day) Selection Process: •Applicants should provide the following required documents: •Cover Letter •Resume •Other relevant documents demonstrating experience or qualifications Required documents of applicants should be received as soon as possible.
