Prepa Tec Campus Santa Anita and Guadalajara Guadalajara, Mexico The PrepaTec, of the prestigious university system Tecnologico de Monterrey is recruiting teachers that can give content classes in English. We are particularly interested in candidates to give classes in English ONLY in the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology. Preferably teachers should have a Masters Degree (or be close to completing one) and currently live in Mexico or be willing to travel to Mexico. The Prepa Tec offers a comprehensive training and development program to all its professors that includes the areas of classroom management, the use of technology in the classes, ethics and education and collaborative learning. The PrepaTec Campus Santa Anita is a high school with over 300 students. Class sizes are 20-25 students and classrooms are equipped with the most relevant technology. Students are highly motivated, bilingual y technologically literate. The city of Guadalajara home of tequila and Mariachi is a bustling international city with all the services of a cosmopolitan centre. Centrally located within Mexico, the coast is four hours away, Mexico City five hours and the famous mining cities of Guanajuato and Zacatecas around 4 hours away. The campus runs a two-semester system: August to December and January to May. Starting date for candidates is early January 2013.
