Teachers must: -have a TEFL qualification - an in-person course, minimum 120 hours, including observed teaching practice (CELTA, Trinity, etc.) -a bachelor's degree -be native speakers of American English -have top-notch grammar and writing skills of their own -love language, teaching, and people We offer: -100 pesos/hour, appx. 25 hours/week -a choice among a host family, group teacher housing, or a housing stipend -the possibility of an airfare stipend and Spanish lessons -a flexible, personalized schedule - our teachers aren't robots, they are people with needs and desires -a very helpful DOS and great pedagogic support -very small class sizes (6-8) This is an ideal job for a newly-certified teacher looking to take big strides or an established teacher looking for a new challenge and the chance to be part of the creative force.
