Yonsei University Foreign Language Institute is coordinating a 2012 Winter English Camp. FLI (Foreign Language Institute) will provide high-quality English Camp to intermediate level to advanced level students. The camp will not only provide intense studies but also gives chances for them to learn how to become a Global Leader. We would like to welcome teachers who are willing to participate in this program. 1) Residential Camp *Program period Residential Camp Date Training Session Camp -GIFT A Camp (2 weeks) Date Training Session January 7, 2013 - January 19, 2013 January 6, 2013 -GIFT B Camp (3 weeks) Date Training Session December 31, 2012 - January 19, 2013 December 30, 2012 -DJGA Camp (3 weeks) Date Training Session January 3, 2012 - January 22, 2013 January 2, 2013 -DJGA Prep Camp (2 weeks) Date Training Session December 31, 2012 - January 12, 2013 December 30, 2012 -IWW (Intensive Writing Workshop) Date Training Session December 31, 2012 - January 12, 2013 December 30, 2012 -PSPW (Public Speech & Presentation Workshop) Date Training Session December 31, 2012 - January 12, 2013 December 30, 2012 *The dates are subject to change -Please indicate which camp you are applying for *Location -Yonsei University, Songdo International Campus, Incheon, South Korea *Program type -Residential program: Teachers will be staying at the Yonsei Universitys newly-built dorm. All meals are provided. -It is for elementary and middle school students (Songdo Campus) *Working hours - 9:00 am - 8:30 pm - Actual teaching hours will not exceed 40 hours per week. - Instructor will have a day off every Saturday or Sunday, and it will be determined by the Employer. *Class Hours -9:00 am - 6:30 pm (50 minutes per period, 10 minutes break in between) -6:30 pm - 7:30 pm (Dinner time) -7:30 pm - 8:30 pm (Daily review hour) *Salary GIFT A Camp (2 weeks) 2,000,000 KRW GIFT B Camp (3 weeks) 2,500,000 KRW DJGA Camp (3 weeks) 2,500,000 KRW DJGA Prep Camp (2 weeks) 2,000,000 KRW IWW (Intensive Writing Workshop) 2,200,000 KRW PSPW (Public Speech & Presentation Workshop)2,210,000 KRW -1,000,000 KRW airfare support provided (for the teachers who reside outside of Korea) -It is mandatory to attend training session. Wed. & Friday Date Training Session January 3, 2013 - January 29, 2013 January 2, 2013 -Please indicate which camp you are applying for *Location -Yonsei University, Shinchon Campus, Seoul, South Korea *Program type -Day: Teachers will be teaching 8-12 students per class in Yonsei University campus downtown Seoul -Residential for 2 days: Field Trip to Yonsei International Campus in Songdo (January 11~12) *Working hours - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday or M/W/F *Salary GIFT Camp for Monday to Friday 2,500,000 KRW GIFT Camp for Mon. Wed. & Friday 1,600,000 KRW -1,000,000 KRW airfare support provided (for the teachers who reside outside of Korea) -It is mandatory to attend training session. If missing, 50,000 won will be deducted from the salary. *Qualification -Teachers with an official teaching credential -Teachers with M.A. or higher degree in Language Art, Education, or other teaching related major -Teachers who are currently or formerly employed in public or private elementary, junior high, or high schools in the U.S. are preferred. -Teachers who are currently or formerly employed in Foreign Language high schools, high schools, middle schools and elementary in Korea.
