The Intensive English Program is seeking 2 full-time ESL instructors to begin in January 2013. The program provides international students with language instruction and support, cultural orientation, and academic preparation.
The instructors in this position will teach 18 hours per week in all skill areas (five 7-week terms per year), be actively involved in placement testing and orientation, attend regular meetings, occasionally substitute teach, and serve on ESL curriculum and other program development and university committees.
The normal contract period for this position is 11 months, August to July. This position will be from January to July with an anticipated renewal of the normal contract period.

*Master's in TESOL, English, Language Education, Applied Linguistics or other related field completed by December 2012
*Experience teaching ESL
*Demonstrated knowledge of technology use in the classroom
* Master's in TESOL
* A minimum of one year experience teaching full-time in an Intensive English Program setting
* Demonstrated ability to teach at different proficiency levels in different skill areas
* Knowledge of a second language and /or living or working abroad
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
* Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment
