-have a TEFL qualification - an in-person course, minimum 120 hours, including observed teaching practice (CELTA, Trinity, etc.)
-a bachelor's degree
-be native speakers of American English - no heavy accents
-have top-notch grammar and writing skills of their own
-love language, teaching, and people
-100 pesos/hour, appx. 25 hours/week
-a choice among a host family, group teacher housing, or a housing stipend
-the possibility of an airfare stipend and Spanish lessons
-a flexible, personalized schedule - our teachers aren't robots, they are people with needs and desires
-a very helpful DOS and great pedagogic support
-very small class sizes (6-8)
