Overall responsibility: Apollo IH Hanoi is looking for an Academic Coordinator to run the day-to-day operations of one of our centers in Hanoi. A successful candidate will have a strong background in both academics and management. Excellent administrative, communication, IT, and organizational skills are essential. Academic Coordinator work closely with Centre Managers to open and oversee classes. They are also responsible for the teaching team, as well as the rest of the senior management team. A DELTA or equivalent is preferred, as well as previous experience in a management post. We offer: Commitment to professional development and high teaching standards Competitive packages Wide range of resources and modern facilities Variety of course types Opportunities for development and promotion Academic and personal support from a dedicated team The chance to experience the real Vietnam in Danang, Haiphong and other provincial cities and towns Job Description: -Planning; Efficient and high quality implementation of strategic EFL plan for the centre -Performance and development of EFL staff (senior staff, teachers, administrative staff, and teaching assistants) -Budget management -Evaluation and reporting -Managing communication both within the EFL department and between EFL and other departments -Identifying opportunities to develop, improve, and add value to the centre -Organizing workshops and meetings for teachers -Monitoring teachers and giving feedback; and Teaching English classes Job Requirements: - Native English speaker - BA or MA (NB this is essential for Work Permit requirements) - CELTA/Trinity TESOL or equivalent - DELTA/Trinity Diploma proffered - At least 3 years post qualification experience - Proven people and business management experience - Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills - Flexibility and cultural awareness - Training and mentoring experience - Experience working in Asia and/or a developing country Benefits: - Salary: Competitive salary with satisfactory contract completion bonus - Medical insurance allowance: up to 550 USD per year - Flight allowance: up to 500 USD per year - 20 (twenty) working days paid annual leave + 10 (ten) national holidays paid per year. - Visa and work permit costs are covered Welcome to ESL Job Feed.
