Selection Criteria

1. Aboriginality (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person): Aboriginality is a requirement of this position.

2. Vocational Qualifications: Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification with substantial studies (two years or more) in two or more of numeracy, literacy, English, Communication, Learner Support or related field.

3. Educational Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) or willingness to undertake within six months of initial appointment.

4. Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining professional currency.

5. High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.

6. Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting

7. Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment.

8. Proven strengths in problem solving and change management.
