ELT Sales Consultant, UK and Ireland

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, your duties would include:
Carrying out an extensive programme of visits to educational institutions and leading bookshops within the region to promote our catalogue titles
Working as part of a highly-motivated team to achieve sales targets and increase Macmillanís ELT sales within the UK & Ireland
Presenting Macmillan Educationís print and digital materials to groups of students and/or teachers
Reporting feedback from customers and keeping up-to-date with changes in the region
Attending industry exhibitions, author events and conferences.
This role involves a great deal of travel and you will need to be highly organised, flexible and able to work using your own initiative. You will be liaising with schools, universities and colleges to arrange visits so first class communication skills are essential. You will also need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and presentation skills since you will be promoting Macmillan Educationís print and digital materials, and giving workshops where required.
The ideal candidate will have previous ELT teaching experience in the UK and previous sales experience is an advantage. Applicants must be in possession of a full valid driving licence and must have an existing right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
The position will ideally be home-based but other options may be considered for the right candidate. Initially, there will be considerable travel to Oxford and London for training.
