Job Description:

The Program of TESOL and Bilingual Education in the Division of Language and Literacy of the Graduate School of Education seeks to fill a full-time, assistant or associate professor position starting September 2013. Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and online graduate courses in TESOL, supervision of student teachers and collaboration with schools. Candidates with public school teaching experience will be preferred.


Requirements



Candidates must have a doctorate degree with a concentration in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Curriculum and Instruction with a strong TESOL background.
Candidates must have significant K-12 public school teaching experience with language learners and/or teacher education experience.
Candidates must be bilingual and biliterate.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
