GORDON COLLEGE
Assistant or Associate Professor of Education
The Department of Early Childhood/Elementary Education at Gordon College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant or associate professor position in early or elementary education. Full-time K-12 classroom experience required. Rank commensurate with experience.

Principal teaching responsibilities may include such courses as foundations of special education, foundations of early childhood education, methods of teaching young children with disabilities, seminars in special education, language acquisition, methods of ESL teaching, methods of teaching science or social studies as well as other general education courses depending on the candidates interest and expertise.

Faculty responsibilities include advising students, supervising student internships and faculty assignments on college committees. Faculty are expected to be active in their discipline through scholarly work in their field and should possess an earned doctorate in that field.

Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, is a member of the elite Annapolis Group, a consortium of the nations leading liberal arts institutions and among the premiere Christian liberal arts colleges in the country. Gordon offers excellent academics, a strong sense of community and an atmosphere of open intellectual inquiry and personal responsibility within the framework of Christian faith. Gordon College is located in a classic New England town on Bostons North Shore.
