We are looking to fill three teaching positions in Ulsan City, for the Mar. 1st semester start in 2013(arriving in mid-February). #1 Kindergarten/Elementary - ULSAN

-Start Date: Feb 18th, 2013 (arriving on the 15th or 16th)
-Salary: 2.6 million won/month
-Hours: 10 am to 7 pm MON-FRI (with 45 min. lunch and 40 min. prep. breaks)
-Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided by the school
-Accommodation: Rent-free, furnished, single apartment (big apartments)
-Vacation: 10 days paid + national holidays paid
-Severance (Bonus): One month''s salary upon completion of a one-year contract
-Age Groups of Students: Kindergarten through grade 4
-#of Students per Class: Maximum 10
-#of Foreign Teachers at the School: 5
*North American Preferred

This school has one of the best reputations in the area. Having had the same Korean staff since they opened, says a lot for any business in Korea. The director here is more than fair and has an excellent command of the English language (as do most of the staff). The children are wonderful and taught to be very respectful to others.

#2 - Elementary (grades 1 - 4) - ULSAN

-Start Date: Feb 18th (arriving on the 15th or 16th)
-Salary: 2.2 million won/month
-Hours: 2 pm to 8:30 pm MON-FRI
-Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided by the school
-Accommodation: Rent-free, furnished, single apartment
-Vacation: 10 days paid + national holidays paid
-Severance (Bonus): One month''s salary upon completion of a one-year contract
-Age Groups of Students: Elementary aged
-#of Students per Class: Maximum 10
-#of Foreign Teachers at the School: 1 (9 in the building)

This is an extension of a well-reputed academy in the area. The classes will mostly be phonics and beginner level for lower elementary aged children. This job is ideal for someone who can work well on their own. You will be the only foreign teacher in the department but will have other foreign teachers in the building (same school). The Korean staff are friendly and very helpful.

#3 - Elementary/Middle School - ULSAN

-Start Date: March 1st (Arriving about a week earlier for orientation)
-Salary: 2.2 million won/month
-Hours: 2 pm to 10 pm MON-FRI
-Airfare: Round-trip airfare provided by the school
-Accommodation: Rent-free, furnished, single apartment
-Vacation: 10 days paid + national holidays paid
-Severance (Bonus): One month''s salary upon completion of a one-year contract
-Age Groups of Students: Elementary/Middle School aged
-#of Students per Class: Maximum 10
-#of Foreign Teachers at the School: 1 (one more to be hired)
*North American Preferred

This is a brand new branch of a very large Korea-wide franchise. This academy has a famed reputation in Korea and this will be its first branch in Ulsan. The director is friendly, speaks excellent English, is well-traveled and has a great understanding of cultural adaptation and differences. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a well-established company.

Bachelors degree in any discipline
- A citizen of Canada, the U.S.A, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, South Africa, or New Zealand
Previous teaching experience preferred
