The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Editor to work on English Language Teaching materials for secondary schools in Spain.

You will be responsible for researching, developing and project-managing major coursebook packages to be delivered in print and digital formats. Key responsibilities will include:

content development and editing from initial manuscript to final files, including close liaison with authors
project management of individual components and multi-component levels
management of freelance editors and authors
liaison with other members of the editorial team and other in-house departments
The ideal candidate will have:

a recognized TEFL qualification and previous teaching experience
editorial experience in educational publishing
a good understanding of the needs of teachers and learners aged 12-18
proven experience of working to deadlines
a critical approach to analysing materials and attention to detail
the ability to deal sensitively with authors
Knowledge of the Spanish ELT market is not essential as full training will be provided.
