EFL teachers in Hohhot will discover a city with a rich past that has resulted in a unique, diverse and exciting “country-based” metropolis. It is the lead and capital city of China’s northern frontier: the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With a history of more than 2300 years, Hohhot is comprised of over 36 ethnic groups whose influences are evident throughout the expansive city of 2.7 million. Dynastic, Confucian, Buddhist, Muslim, Mongolian, and other cultural dynamics have resulted in a city that, as a teacher with well less than a full teaching load, you will have time to explore and embrace.
We will be at the 2013 TESOL Conference in Dallas, TX, USA. You are welcome to schedule an onsite interview with us!
