Up to 10 full-time teaching positions available. Teach approximately 25 hours per week in the English language preparatory program or in the academic support classes for freshman. Work as part of a team and participate in in-service training sessions and regular staff meetings. Assist in developing supplementary materials and exams; keep records on student progress. Students range from beginners through advanced level. This is a twelve-month renewable contract, with the possibility of summer teaching.
NOTES: 10 openings. Additional Salary Information: AIU provides health insurance coverage, a housing allowance, and round-trip air fare and visa sponsorship. Requirements Minimum qualifications are a BA degree in English and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language. An M.A. in TESOL or a related area is preferred. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience is desirable; however, AIU has training and mentoring program for less experienced instructors.
