ALTs for new school year in Kanto Region

Now seeking assistant language teachers (ALTs) for the 2013-2014 school year starting in April! Ideal candidates should have a bright and energetic personality, the ability to proactively create lesson materials and enjoy working with children. Our company has positions in elementary and junior high schools throughout Kanto: Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa and Yamanashi Prefectures.

The working schedule and conditions depend on the location, but typically ALTs work Monday through Friday, from 8AM-3:30PM. Salary can be from 190,000-240,000yen per working month (transportation included in the salary). Actual teaching hours average at about 5hrs/day and break, lunch and cleaning time is spent with the students, helping them communicate and learn more about the ALTs culture and interests.

Applicants should be native English speakers who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree. A valid working visa is required, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates. Prior teaching experience and Japanese ability are preferred, but not required. Also, any experience working with or tutoring children is a bonus!
