Intensive Program Coordnator

The Intensive Program Coordinator has primary responsibility for the day to day operations of the English Language Programs (ELP) Intensive Program. Operational duties include: assisting the Associate Director of Programs in scheduling teachers and classes, as well as the assignment of intersession duties; overseeing substitute teaching assignments; and coordinating beginning and end of session protocols. Other duties include: advising the Associate Director of Curriculum and Staff Development on academic hiring and with the development and implementation of targeted curricular initiatives; assisting the Advising Manager and Advising Specialist in resolving student scheduling issues during each session. This position will teach throughout the year and will also serve on the Steering Council, the main decision-making body of the ELP. Outcomes are operational excellence, flexible delivery, and student satisfaction.

Requirements
Required: Masters in TESOL or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience teaching English in a university-level ESL program that includes for academic purposes and professional purposes. Experience coordinating programs or significant administrative experience. Familiarity with instructional and administrative technologies; ability to lead and supervise others; ability to provide high customer satisfaction to a broad variety of participants.

Preferred: Knowledge of a foreign language; experience living and working abroad.
