We are now hiring for spring starts in our Muffys Pre-K and Global Track programs. These are year-long, full-time teaching positions. See below for details:
POSITION 1: Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher
Description: At Muffys Learning Centers, our young students become fluent in English through a variety of stimulating, hands-on activities and lively conversations with our caring foreign teachers in a full-day immersion program. The cornerstone of our curriculum is Dr. Howard Gardners theory of multiple intelligences. We believe in the power of play and focus on providing our students with a range of exciting learning options in eight different areas of development.
We are seeking caring, patient and energetic self-starters who enjoy working with children between ages 2 to 6. Candidates should be self-confident individuals who are open to personal and professional development. We are looking for team players who enjoy collaborating with others and who embrace the creative challenge of teaching young children.
Native English Speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
Early Childhood Education and/or Child Care experience Bachelors degree with teaching license/certificate preferred
Candidates with music, art or dance/drama background are strongly encouraged to apply.
Contract start date: Monday February 25th, 2013 (1 positions)
Contract: 40 hours/week (27.5 Contact hours)
Contract Duration: 1 year
Compensation: 13,000~18,000 RMB/month, net of taxes.
Salary commensurate with experience.
POSITION 2: Global Track After-School ESL Teacher
Description: Global Track is an after-school community center for children ages 3-14. We run Academic, Sports, and Fine Arts classes in an English immersion environment using curriculum based on Bloom's taxonomy of learning objectives, focusing on language acquisition, content knowledge, and character development.
We are seeking flexible, caring, dedicated and energetic self-starters who enjoy working with children. Candidates should be team players who can adapt to a different cultural environment. Background in Sports and Fine Arts is a strong asset. Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Native English speakers from North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
Bachelors degree with minimum 2 year ESL teaching program.
Contract start dates: Monday, February 25th, 2013
Working hours: Weekday evenings and weekends, 5 days per week
Weekly teaching hours: 25
Contract duration: through January 2014
Compensation: 10,000 ~ 12,000 RMB/month, net of taxes. Salary commensurate with experience.
