Now recruiting Assistant Language Teachers to fill positions in Japanese public schools throughout the Kanto Region for the 2013-2014 school year! We work with various school boards in the Tokyo area as well as the surrounding prefectures. Our ALTs have the opportunity to work in elementary and junior high schools, providing English expertise, a native voice, and cultural differences.
The working schedule is standard school hours, usually finishing by 4:00PM. ALTs may have about 5-6 lessons per day, and after school there is the possibility to take part in club activities! Individuals who like engaging in conversation, are friendly and positive, and above all else can work with children should consider being an ALT in Japan! Typical salary for an ALT is between 190,000-240,000yen per month. This wage includes the maximum allowance for transportation. Working days are Monday-Friday, with occasional work on Saturday for special events like Sports Day. Our company can help with housing assistance for overseas applicants or people currently residing in Japan who wish to relocate to the Kanto Region. Applicants must be native English speakers with a working visa. We can also sponsor visas for eligible applicants with at least a Bachelors Degree. Teaching experience or experience being in Japan is preferable, but not required. Some Japanese ability and interest in Japanese culture is ideal. Welcome to ESL Job Feed.
