Our client, a prestigious ELT publisher, is looking for a Development Editor to work on their post-secondary list. This is a permanent role based in London.
Key duties: Liaise closely with the Commissioning Editor and project team to assist commissioning of ELT materials To carry out market research to ensure market segments are identified and that the project team understands the market needs Work with the Publisher and Commissioning Editor to identify and commission authors Prepare initial briefs for authors and to provide authors with feedback on manuscripts Manage and brief suitable readers and advisors Support the Commissioning Editor in content editing of final manuscript where possible Provide support to the editorial team at all stages of the editorial and production processes Brief, manage and monitor freelancers Experience / skills required: A recognised TEFL qualification and experience of EFL teaching is essential Demonstrable ELT publishing experience, preferably in the Post-secondary market Experience of working on digital products would be beneficial First-class written and verbal communication skills Proactive and able to work to tight deadlines Proven team-working and organisational skills For further information, please apply online or email a CV and salary expectations to lucyllewellyn@atwoodtate.co.uk by January 20th.
