Contract Start Date: 1st May 2013
Contract End Date: 31st March 2014
If the contract is renewed in the 2nd year, it runs for a full 12-month period from 1st April to 31st March (i.e., you get paid leave during April).
The Salary: 30,000 Baht per calendar month. Additional voluntary classes can boost your earnings by up to 9,000 baht per month, subject to availability.
The Job: A diverse and engaging role with a combination of EP and Regular Program teaching.
The School: Siyanuson School, Chanthaburi is a highly successful government girls* school and our EP began 9 years ago. It is located close to Chanthaburi city centre. (*limited admittance for boys at upper Matayom level)
NATIVE SPEAKERS FROM UK, USA, CAN, NZ, AUS, EIRE (+ SA WITH TOEIC)
Must have a bachelor degree and TEFL Certificate (or suitable teaching qualification). The degree should be from a university which is recognized by The Teachers Council of Thailand.
Should preferably have at least 1 year of teaching experience in Thailand, but new teachers are welcome to apply.
The position is subject to a 3-month probationary period.
The Location: Chanthaburi is a beautiful provincial city with many tourist attractions and pretty local beaches a short distance from the town. It is an ideal place to settle for both work and relaxation. The islands of the Koh Chang archipelago are within easy reach for day trips or weekends away.
