The English Language Department at Far Eastern Federal University seeks candidates for English Language Instructors for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Far Eastern Federal University, located on the Sea of Japan near Russia's border with China, was established by presidential edict in 2009, combining four well-established Russian institutions. FEFU is a unique university that launched its new, ultramodern campus during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in 2012. Russian and international partners are working together to offer world-class opportunities at FEFU.
Applicants are invited to apply to teach in our English Language Department. The search committee is eager to review applications of individuals with demonstrated excellence in teaching. Applicants should have a bachelor's or master's degree in TESOL, Linguistics or Applied Linguistics, and have university teaching experience. Open positions are listed below:
"E-Learning English Language Expert/Instructor" will help create English e-Learning products and provide the most comprehensive online learning option available on the market.
"EFL Instructor" will use a range of course books and materials and also a variety of audiovisual aids to enhance English acquisition. Classes will provide strong emphasis on dialogue and role-playing, but more formal exercises, language games and literature will also used.
Typical tasks that may be carried out include: classroom management; planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups; preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises; marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work; devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources; organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as competitions, parties, dinners and excursions; attending and contributing to training sessions; participating in marketing events for FEFU; preparing information for audits and other quality assurance exercises; freelance teaching on a one-to-one basis; basic administrative duties, such as maintaining student academic and attendance records.
Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Benefits include accommodations, travel compensation, and medical insurance.
