This private academy has a world-class, well-equipped campus located in the Hsinchu area in Northern Taiwan. Providing sound education for Taiwanese students from K1-G9, there are three programs: 1. kindergarten program, from K1-K3, 2. elementary/junior high program, from G1-G9, and 3. After-school English program, which would be like a cram school.
For the elementary/junior high program, you would be teaching a USA-equivalent curriculum in English Program crossing all subjects from Literature, Math, Science, and ESL. At this time, the school is mainly looking for elementary teachers for their G1-G2 program, as they have been rapidly expanding and enrolling new students. Therefore, we need teachers who are young, energetic, and enthusiastic!
The campus is modern, spacious and bright. It has facilities like outdoors field, library, performance/dining hall, state-of-the-art rooms for audio/computer/band/chorus, cafeteria just to name a few.
You will definitely feel the pressure, as the expectations at this school are high. Yet at the same time, you will get a great sense of accomplishment and job satisfaction. It is a great place to be if you are seeking to grow as a teacher or working professional.
Feedback from Teacher Christine:
It has been a wonderful semester of teaching first grade students. I have a class of 28 adorable students in my homeroom. They are very inquisitive and energetic students. I teach them Math, Reading, Phonics and Science. I am also a teacher of higher grades. I teach second grade and junior high. I enjoy having different grade levels to teach. Its a good change of environment and ability. What I enjoy the most is having good co-workers. I was shown a lot of hospitality by my co-workers when I had first arrived. Many of them have become my good friends.
