The Faculty of Law at the University of Otago was established in 1873 as the first law school in New Zealand. The Faculty has very experienced, highly collegial academic staff (27) who have international reputations in their fields. The Law Faculty is situated in Dunedin, New Zealand's renowned University city. The University of Otago is one of New Zealand's most research intensive universities and a leader in legal research in New Zealand.

The Faculty of Law is now seeking to appoint a new Lecturer/Senior Lecturer.

The Faculty wishes to encourage strong applicants who have a passion for research and teaching. An interest in Criminal Law, Intellectual Property, Torts or Jurisprudence would be useful, but is not a prerequisite.
