Director of Studies (EFL)

The Director of Studies is responsible for the efficient management of the academic team, delivery of the academic programme, timetable, staffing, quality assurance and the development of high standards, exceeding the requirements of the British Council Accreditation Scheme.

This role will provide the central competence to develop the level of language teaching across the estate, primarily focussing on Grosvenor Hall and be responsible for the delivery of innovative, unique and market leading language programmes, developing excellent student focussed modules that delight clients, sponsoring organisations and parents.

This role requires a suite of academic, leadership and organisational skills that will role model excellent educational practise and drive innovation

Qualifications

The role of Director of Studies requires:

A University degree (graduate or post-graduate).
A Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL.
A Cambridge DELTA, Trinity LTCL Diploma TESOL or equivalent.
A working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
A understanding of informal and/or experiential learning methodology
