My client, a secondary school in Lewisham is looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join their SEN department as a Learning Support Assistant. My client is looking for a patient and driven individual who would love the opportunity to assist with pupils with learning and behavioural difficulties across a range of ages from Year 7 right through to A level.
The successful candidate will be required for the whole academic year starting from September 2013 and will be full time, 5 days a week. You will be assisting a group of 3-6 pupils across the curriculum. You will be joining an excellent SEN department which offer support and guidance.
Candidate will ideally be a UK graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree and experience working with children with learning difficulties. However this is not essential. The school is looking for bright individuals with excellent communication skills that will be able to build a good rapport with pupils of varying ages.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a graduate looking to gain crucial experience before taking up a PGCE/GTP in October 2014.
School based interviews are in Novemberr but Academics will be looking to have registration interviews ASAP.
