TESOL Teachers Needed for Daily Work at Adult Education Centre in Werribee

anzuk* has opportunities for TESOL qualified educators to work on a casual basis delivering the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) at a leading provider of adult training based in Werribee.
The position will consist of delivering beginner and intermediate English language courses based on the Certificates of Spoken and Written Word (CSWE) to adult learners. The curriculum will focus on pronunciation and grammar as well as English for individual needs such as driving, job seeking, and using technology. The organisation aims to help students improve job opportunities, increase engagement with the local community, and to boost self-esteem and confidence.
Successful candidates will:
Actively engage learners with a diversity of cultural understandings, values, and experiences
Gain experience at a leading provider of adult education, training, and employment programs for adult migrants and refugees.
Have passion and enthusiasm for TESOL education
Be accommodated in their preference to work part or full days including opportunities for evening and Saturday work
Have opportunities to be considered for long-term sessional employment
Have a Bachelor of Education with a TESOL major OR a Bachelor Degree combined with a postgraduate TESOL qualification that meets the National ELT Accreditation Scheme's (NEAS) standards for the delivery of AMEP.
Have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)
Up-to-date CV outlining relevant experience
Two supervisory teaching references that have observed your teaching practices directly in adult education settings
A current Australian police check and/or VIT registration
Experienced applicants and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
