Shane English China is looking for fun, friendly and outgoing teachers with a keen interest in young learner development. Teach English to students between the ages of 3 and 16. Teachers will have a mix of classes that will equip them to teach students of all ages. Shane English schools maintain the highest standards in education by providing excellent course materials, technology and an engaging learning environment.

Positions are available for immediate start. Teach between 16 and 22 hours a week (Saturday & Sunday included), 5 days a week. We are currently recruiting for Shanghai, Zhangjiagang, Ningbo, Cixi, Chengdu and Kunming In addition to this, we have openings in our schools throughout China and if you are interested in our other locations, please contact us at recruitment@shane.com.cn.

Support
Teachers will always have a senior member of staff with whom they can discuss any aspects of their work. Also, each school has a full time welfare officer to help teachers settle smoothly into living in China and provide ongoing assistance on all matters that may otherwise prove difficult with the language barrier.
Working Visa
SESC sponsors all teachers for their visas and covers all associated costs except the initial entry visa.

Qualifications
We would like to hear from candidates who are;
- Native English Speakers from Canada, the UK, America, New Zealand or Australia
- Have a recognized EFL qualification (TEFL/TESOL /CELTA/DELTA)
- Have a university degree
- Teaching experience preferred but not essential
-Are outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, sociable, hard-working, patient and professional
-Are looking for a challenge and enjoy working with young learners

Salary and Benefits

The monthly salary for teachers with all qualifications is guaranteed between 8500 RMB and 12 000 RMB per month (depending on experience). All teachers also receive a number of extra payments throughout the year to assist with health insurance, 16 - 22 days paid leave as well as a performance bonus and an end of contract bonus.

Hot Job: Changning Public School Teaching Program (Location: Shanghai)

Shane English is looking for 10 teachers for our public school program in Shanghai. Teach grades 1 - 5 in some of the best equipped schools in Shanghai. Teach on average 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm). The position entails teaching English to students between the ages of 6 and 13 (grade 1 5). Each class is between 35 and 45 minutes long. A set curriculum is provided and teachers are given in-depth training before they start teachingThe position would require you to be in Shanghai on or before August 24th for training and orientation.

The details are as follows:
Contract Period: September 1st June 20th (9.5 months)
Salary: RMB 10,000 12,000 AFTER TAX (depending on experience and qualifications)
End Of Contract Bonus: RMB 5,000
End of Contract Bonus: RMB 5,000
Health Insurance Reimbursement: up to RMB1,300
Holidays: 16 days (inclusive of National Holidays There will be one month unpaid leave in the winter.)
Valid Work Visa

NB: There is no housing allowance or flight reimbursements with this program.
