Faculty salary and rank are based on qualifications and professional experience. Job Description: The Intensive English Program, English Language Institute, at the American University in Cairo invites applications for an English Language Instructor to teach English as a foreign language to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in intensive English courses. Candidates with several years of teaching experience, including at least two years of international experience, along with English for Academic Purposes experience and a commitment to instructional improvement are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in curriculum development, CALL/instructional technology, and/or language assessment. Requirements: A Masters degree in TEFL/TESL is required. Successful candidates should demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching, professional, curriculum and/or materials development.
