Embassy, a worldwide leader in English language teaching, is seeking a Director of Teaching and Technology at our downtown Boston center. Teaching with technology is playing an ever more important role at Embassy and to support our teachers we have created a new position; The Director of Teaching and Technology. This staff member will focus on the classroom delivery of Embassy programs and the success of teachers in their roles as educators. The DTT will assist in the professional development and training of teachers from a pedagogical, methodological and technological perspective in U.S. centers and serve as a peer advisor to teachers and academic managers. The DTT will work with the Director of Academic Affairs to develop and implement plans for continual teacher development within their centers.

Qualifications include:
1. An earned Master's in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Teacher Education, with a TESL focus, or a closely related field
2. Familiarity with basic and content specific technologies, interactive white boards, e-books and learning management systems, preferably Moodle
3. Experience developing and facilitating teacher training programs for teachers of ESOL
4. Experience teaching ESOL
The ideal candidate will have worked in a private language school with rolling admissions and understand the complexities of such an operation. Some travel within the United States will be required.
