Qualification requirement: Native English Speaker with Bachelor or Masters Degree in any discipline (from: USA; Canada; UK; Australia; NZ or SA). Work start:. 24th February 2010. Teaching level: Mostly Elementary & Middle School. Average class size is 9 students. Salary: 2.2~2.3 Million won/month (which is set above the Gimhae area average salary). Working time: Mon - Fri 2pm – 9pm. (Some days have reduced hours). *1 Year Contract. * Rent Free, Fully Furnished Apartments, with Internet, landline and TV * Flight tickets provided (or cash for return flight upon completion of contract). *Severance Pay: 1 month salary upon completion of contract. *Health Insurance: 50%/50%. *Paid vacation: 10 days. Additional Information: We are a very friendly academy with a reliable employer. The academy is located within a beautiful mountainous valley. You will have an orientation period of 3 days with the outgoing foreign teacher. You will be working with five Korean co-teachers. Many other English native speakers reside locally. Generally, Gimhae is a great place to be, especially if you like culture, temples, outdoor activities and bars! There is a local ice rink, swimming pool, cinema, many museums, an arts centre and numerous other leisure activities. Gimhae is within a 45 minute distance to Busan, the second largest city in Korea (which has numerous cultural wonders, beaches, extensive shopping, bars and plenty of other things to offer).
