Licensed Teachers Needed

We are looking for certified school teachers for the Government English Program in Hsin-chu, Taiwan. Teachers are required to be a native English speaker, have a 4 year degree, and a teaching licensee (teacher's certificate/licensed/a registered education diploma). Taiwan's government is currently accepting applicants from the following countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of South Africa, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

1. Term of Employment: February 15, 2010 to July 31, 2010
2. Pre-job training: 30 hours
3. Salary: $60,890.00 NT monthly paid from the commencement date to June 30, 2010 (First time teaching in Government Program)
4. Rent allowance: $5,000.00 NT monthly
5. Working hours: Monday through Friday / 8 to 4:00 p.m.
1. If you work for Elementary school, you will have a maximum of 24 classes per week. Class duration is 40 minutes.
2. If you work in a junior high or high school, you will have a maximum of 22 classes per week. Class duration is 50 minutes. There will be up to 10 hours monthly to participate in the school's activities.
6. Insurance: In accordance with the laws, the teacher is obligated to pay 30% of the total premium charged under the National Health Insurance Policy and 20% of the total premium charged under the Labor Insurance Program.
7. Evaluation and Performance Incentives for July, 2010
* A one-month-salary performance incentive will be payable to the teacher with the performance rating (equal to a score of 85 point or above)
* Half-month-salary performance incentive will be payable to the teacher with the performance rating (equal to a score between 75 - 85 points) and personal leave and sick leave combined are more than 14 days but no more then 28 days.
8. Airfare reimbursement
* Arriving Taiwan: Teacher shall provide the purchase receipt or proof of purchase, and the boarding pass (economy-class only) of flight to Taiwan after reporting to the school for 3 months and be reimbursed for the actual cost of the airfare to the maximum of up to 30,000 NT.
* Departing from Taiwan: After the completion of the Contract, the teacher should provide the school with the purchase receipt or proof of purchase, and the boarding pass A (economy-class only) of the flight departing from Taiwan within 2 months after the completion of the contract so that the school can reimburse the teacher for the actual coast of the airfare to the maximum of up to 30,000NT.

Required Documents:
1. A valid passport
2. An original degree and teaching certificate validated by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office. This should be done at the TECO in one's native country prior to departure.
3. A valid criminal record that has been issued by one's national government.
4. 12 recent passport photos
5. A recent medical examination from a public or private government recognized facility by a qualified physician. Medical examinations that are older than 90 days are not considered valid.
