Academy is very serious about English education and prizes itself in giving our students the highest quality lessons. Teachers are mainly responsible for teaching children (80% of the students), and some adults, the established curriculum and over seeing the use and storage of teaching materials as well as making materials when necessary. The teachers also attend and participate in: teacher training, teachers' meetings, committees, monitoring and reporting the progress of their students, and participate in school events. The future teacher must be energetic and good with children. Conversational Japanese skills are preferable. Some experience teaching children in Japan is an asset. Working hours: 20-25 hours/week lesson time (2,500 yen/hour above 20 teaching hours) for a maximum of 35 working hours/week. Available work schedules:Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday with a 2 year renewable contract. Example Model income / month: (yen) Basic Salary 250,000 (240,000~300,000) +10,000 (high school teaching allowance) +25,000 (4 extra lessons/week) =285,000 (or more) Benefits: Paid Long holidays (1 week in May, 10 days in August, 2 weeks in winter), a completion bonus, we pay 50% of the national health insurance, 2 paid sick days, sponsored work visa, a professional training course, an allowance on rent as well as help finding living accommodations.
