We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly teachers to work Kaplan International in the beautiful cathedral city of Salisbury.
You are enthusiastic and enjoy working with children and adults. Motivated and flexible, you are able to communicate clearly and work independently or as part of a team. Couples are particularly welcome.
You’ll also need to tell us if you want to work in a Homestay or Residential centre. Here are the differences explained.
Homestay Centers where students aged 13 to adults stay off-site with local families and teachers can be provided with self-catering accommodation if required and a weekly rent subsidy of £25 is paid by the school.

Residential Centers where students aged 6 to 17 years stay on-site in dormitories and all staff may take up full board accommodation on or off site. All staff will supervise students and lead activities and excursions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Teachers should have either the Cambridger CELTA or Trinity College Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent)
First aid, sport, drama and art qualifications are an advantage
HOMESTAY TEACHERS Contracts (15 - 22.5 hours per week) are available from mid-June 2010 for 2 to 8 weeks.
SALARY: From £203 to £340 per week according to qualifications and experience, based on 15 contracted hours.
RESIDENTIAL TEACHERS enjoy working with young people as well as sports, drama and/or arts activities. 48 hour week contracts available from 30th June 2010 are from 4 to 6 weeks. Teach 15 hours per week, supervise students and lead activities.
SALARY: From £270 to £310 according to qualifications and experience.
You will also be entitled to 0.6 days paid holiday per week worked which may be taken at the end of the working period and during the contract in exceptional circumstances only. Over a 4-week contract this gives you 2.4 days paid leave and over a 6-week contract, 3.6 days paid leave.
