GEPIK (Gyeonggi Educational Program in Korea)
***General Contractual Details ~
Start Date : April 2010.
Location : various throughout Gyeonggi province
Salary : 2.0 million to 2.5 million KRW depending on experience and educational background (approximately $1800 to $2100 USD based on February 2010 exchange rate)
Working Hours : 40 hours per week (maximum of 30 teaching hours per week)
Students : elementary to middle school ages (public school)
Housing : furnished single studio near school
Vacations : 20 days paid vacations plus all observed national holidays
Completion bonus : equivalent to one months salary upon completion of a 12 month contract
Airfare : provided by employer
Visa : sponsored by employer
Health insurance : 50% of monthly health insurance covered by employer
Pension : 50% of monthly national pension plan covered by employer
Arrival : Teachers will be met at the airport on arrival by HandS Korea staff
