ESL Teacher Training ConsultantsDate: 2010-03-08 08:03:52, Location: Southeast AsiaMALAYSIA - ESL TEACHER TRAINING CONSULTANTS: We require Primary ESL Teacher Trainers (preferably native English speakers – our model here is based on British English, so those employed would be required to use that standard in all writing & instruction, also strong North American accents could pose a problem). The programme is for a total of 3 years (we offer 1 year renewable contracts, but would prefer candidates who indicate that they could stay for three). Trainers need to have experience as well as suitable qualifications, so it would not be suitable for new graduates. However, we would consider any others, even retired teachers with the right credentials & teaching couples would be welcome. They will need to be healthy, adaptable & prepared to accept fairly basic rural conditions & the discomforts of travel, although their main housing would be in a sizeable town with most modern amenities. Those with the spirit of adventure and a great sense of humour would be preferred. Working hours will vary & weekends may have to be included (although reasonable R&R will be available). We would be prepared to accept good quality Primary level ESL teachers as we will run an intensive Training of Trainers course plus a full country briefing & a basic Malay Language course for the entire team. A full preview of the 3 year programme will be provided. We believe that those we employ will have an amazing experience which will raise their profiles & make them even more employable in the future. We shall provide accommodation, travel & accident cover, transportation, necessary equipment & a range of logistical support & advice. As for pay, we will offer a salary range, based on qualifications & experience and commensurate to the responsibilities & expectations of these positions. |
