The program English Volunteers for Change (EVOLC) is driven by the Foundation for Sustainability and Equity (ALIARSE), and Costa Rica Multilingüe, which is a national program initiated by former President and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Oscar Arias, to make Costa Rica a multilingual country in the coming years. The program aims to contribute to improving the level of English in the rural communities, public schools, and poorest sectors of the country.
